Most doctor’s offices promote their best employees — the top tech becomes lead tech, the best receptionist becomes office manager. But here’s the problem: being great at the job doesn’t automatically mean being great at leading people who do that job.

That’s where I come in. I provide leadership development for office personnel so your team leads with confidence, solves problems before they reach your desk, and keeps your practice running smoothly without constant oversight.

Why I Started This Work

I started my business, THE Leadership Academy by Stephanie Gnau, in 2023 after seeing the same challenge over and over: talented, hardworking people promoted into leadership roles without any leadership development.

The result?

The leader struggles, the team feels frustrated, and the organization suffers.

I wanted to change that.

With 16+ years in pharma and over 8 years as a district sales leader managing teams of 8–12 people, I know firsthand what it takes to lead effectively. I’ve been through extensive leadership training myself and now bring those same tools, frameworks, and strategies to office teams who need them most.

My mission is simple: develop the leaders inside your practice so you can focus on growth, patient care, and the big picture — not daily fires.
